TUTORING & MENTORSHIP
Door of Hope creates leaders that are good for their communities and the greater world.
Through the tutoring and mentorship program, participants develop their communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, while also gaining valuable experience within fields applicable to many future career paths.

LEADERSHIP & SERVICE
Ambitious volunteer tutors lead interactive sessions that help each student understand subject material. Each session is tailored to the needs of the individuals.
The Door of Hope Youth and Family Resource Center is built on a three-fold mission; to reclaim, rebuild, and restore hope to the youth and families of our community.

COMMUNITY & GROWTH
Tutors also provide additional resources and education plans. In this program, youth gain confidence and learn lifelong skills that will help them succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Phase 2
Domestic Violence
The program provides a range of comprehensive services to survivors of intimate partner violence and their families. Through individual and group counseling, Door of Hope helps survivors to build on their strengths and take steps towards achieving safety and self-sufficiency.
The program also offers assistance in navigating systems such as legal aid, public benefits, and housing. In addition to providing these services, Door of Hope also organizes free public education sessions throughout the community on how to recognize signs of domestic violence and how to be a supportive ally for survivors.
Drug Diversion
Our programs focus on educating the community about the risks and dangers of drug use and providing resources to those in need. The program involves activities such as peer-led support groups, public forums, community outreach, and workshops on drug safety and prevention.
An important component of the program revolves around building strong relationships between community members and leaders in order to better recognize and address drug-related problems.
Homeless Assistance
We are focused on providing homeless individuals with support, resources, and stability to help them improve their overall quality of life. The core mission of this program is to ensure that individuals have access to the social services and resources they need to find safe, dignified housing and employment.
Through partnerships with local government, law enforcement, landlord networks, and social service providers, Door of Hope assists individuals in locating housing, job training, legal aid, mental health services, and financial counseling.
